Our company is looking for an energetic, detail-oriented person to be a media relations specialist at SuccessValley.
Responsibilities
As the Media Relations Specialist, you are a vital part of the Media Team. In this role, you are responsible for serving as a key member of the media relations team handling incoming requests and proactive pitches to local, regional and national media outlets. The Media Relations Specialist position leverages relationships, direct outreach, new releases and social media to secure interviews in target outlets and markets.
Skills
- 1 to 2 years experience in public relations.
- Completed undergraduate coursework in journalism, marketing communications or business.
- Superb writing skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively and work in a team environment.
- Strong ability to prioritize and multi-task.
- Positive attitude in a deadline-oriented environment.
